Please call (801) 910-1000 if you’d like to sign up for the next Phase 1 “Getting Started Workshop” which will begin next week. Workshops are held for 1 session per week at the Bountiful or Ogden offices on Tuesday through Friday evenings.
The following checklist explains the steps and costs associated with the LifeSTAR program:
- Call (801) 910-1000 and indicate that you’d like to sign up for the LifeSTAR “Getting Started Workshop”. If you have specific questions for Dr. Ken Schwab, director of the Bountiful and Ogden LifeSTAR programs, you can call him at this confidential mobile phone number.
- You will be asked to attend a preliminary assessment/screening appointment. Each participant/couple must receive a one-time assessment with a LifeSTAR therapist before starting the program. Assessment includes (1) an addiction screening, (2) time for you to ask specific questions about your situation, and (3) final sign-up instructions and information about the workshop. Cost for the one-time screening is $80.
- After completing the initial screening, you may enroll in the next “Getting Started Workshop”. The workshop is six-weeks and includes over 18 hours of education. The workshop is designed to educate individuals struggling with pornography addiction AND their spouses. Treatment is more successful when couples attend together and become educated about addiction and recovery. Cost for the Getting Started Workshop is only $420 per participant/$840 per couple (only $23/hour/person). This price includes all workshop workbooks and materials.
- Payment for the Getting Started Workshop can be paid on the first day of the program. You can pay by cash, check, or credit card.
